Pier Players Theatre Company presents Etiquette, a hilarious new comedy by David Lee White.

It’s Fall 2021. Live theatre is back. But when theatre legend Lauren Ellis spots an audience member filming her, she strikes back – stopping the show and refusing to perform. The overworked and underpaid staff suddenly have to navigate in-fighting, diva tantrums, illegal vaping, and internet trolls... not to mention the theatre company’s problematic history.

Etiquette is directed by Barrymore Award-winning director Charlotte Northeast and produced by Pier Players’ Artistic Director Chelsea Cylinder. The show is written by David Lee White, book writer of The Angry Grammarian, the hit musical that brought local, national, and international acclaim to Pier Players last year. Now, the company is thrilled to be producing the first developmental production of this clever, insightful, and laugh-out-loud funny play.
